Ireland - 22 October to April 2008 (GR2 & 3) A 'BIG HELLO and HI THERE' to everyone Yes, we are in Ireland; a land famous for its' rolling green countryside, pub life and the Blarney Stone. Ireland also happens to be one of Western Europe's least populated and least industrialized countries, not to mention; the least spoilt, and yet, this country's culture has managed to permeate nearly every corner of the globe - all we need to remember are names like: Yeats, U2, the Corrs and even the pub named 'O' Flanagan's. It's cold, but at least not as wet as we had expected. After arriving from Wales, Dean had his 2 days of clinical orientation and then drove down to Athy, where GR2 met up with them a couple of days later. GR2&3 are now warm and comfortable in a 2 bedroom home, in Athy, a small town south of Dublin, enjoying being settled for a while!!!! We will keep you posted on future developments. Later then GR2&3 |
